In a very good condition a rare to find US WW1 Military Medical Department Steel Ambulance Box. These boxes were used by a Field Medic or Fireman have contained medical supplies and taken into the field on a horsed or mechanized ambulance or an early Fireman Fire Department Ambulance Box used on a civilian ambulance.
The box Retains most of its original paint and clearly shows the marking on top 'Dressings'.
Inside the box are still 8 original WW2 first aid dressings in the original package!
