SS-Untersturmführer Heinz Nowotnik earned the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on May 14, 1944 as SS-Untersturmführer und Chef of the 14. Kompanie/ SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 1 of the 1. SS-Panzer-Division “LSSAH”.
The portrait picture comes with his wartime archivement record and small letter from Heinz.
