In a very nice condition a Dutch NSB Cased Mussert Cross (Mussertkruis).
The Dutch NSB (National Socialist Party) was founded by 'Anton Mussert' in December 1931 and was a Dutch pro-German Nazi Party.
The Mussert Cross was instituted as a decoration to be awarded to NSB members in German service who had taken part in the campaign against Russia. The medals are never officially awarded because they were not approved by the German command. On front the Swastika and Wolfshook are shown, the back carries the text 'Hou en Trou' and 'Mussert 1941'. The medal is in good condition and complete with its original confectioned ribbon and matching batton, the set comes in its original, regrettably damaged carton box. The box is showing some damage like mostly when found.
