In a very nice condition a German Enamel made colander made of a German Wehrmacht M42 Combat Helmet.
After the second World War, when there was great shortcomings of all kinds of kitchen gear etc. and lots of military equipment laying around with no future.
People and companies where rebuilding those military equipment items to useful items for civilian life
“Aus der not Geboren” this enameled Colander is a nice sample of it! Made from a Wehrmacht Combat Helmet! Nice historical item in very good condition.
Sadly one of the handles is missing.
