In a very good condition a stunning US Veteran bring back that is resently discovered in a private household in the USA.
The set was found in a box together and was taken out a cockpit of a German Luftwaffe Fighter Airplane ME 262 Messerschmitt.
The Messerschmitt Me 262, nicknamed Schwalbe (German for "Swallow") in fighter versions, or Sturmvogel ("Storm Bird") in fighter-bomber versions, is a fighter aircraft and fighter-bomber that was designed and produced by the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt. It was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft and one of two jet fighter aircraft types to see air-to-air combat in World War II. The aircraft became operational with the Luftwaffe in mid-1944. The Me 262 was faster and more heavily armed than any Allied fighter, including the British jet-powered Gloster Meteor. The Allies countered by attacking the aircraft on the ground and during takeoff and landing.
The set comes with the ME 262 Controle Stick, Flight Map and Pilot Compass.
The ME 262 Controle stick type KG13B comes in a nice used condition with original type plate. Manufacturer "ngk," the code for Luftfahrt-Apparatebau GmbH, Berlin. "Type KG13B, Equipment No.: 102-288 B, Works No. 28618, Request No. Fl 47919." With attached box for the wiring (V7/ ME262 wiring), complete, with wiring diagram KG 13B. Above it is the push button for the radio. The checkering on the grip is in very good condition. At the top/front are the two push buttons for the cannon or the machine guns. The folding trigger guard is functional.
The used plastified Flight map comes in a size of approx 1,2x1,2meter and contains the Region of Munich, Strassbourg, Bern and Innsbruck.
Extremely rare item set , one of the very few originals that came directly from a private household!
