The late war Mc Cord made helmet comes with swival bales, front seam and heatnumber 1099C.
The helmet shell has original (laundrynumber marked) straps attached and on the front the rank bar of a 1st Lieutenant painted.
The reverse of the helmet has a stunning follow me bar also painted!
Inside is a very stunning early westinghouse high pressure liner present with the original webbing inside.
The outside of the helmet has also the 1st Lieutenant bar on the front (traces of the yellow 2nd lieutenant bar underneath) and on the side the decals of the 79th Infantry Division 'Cross of Lorraine' spraypainted! These spraypainted decals are used from 1945 and occupation period.
Nice to see is that the first pattern Painted decals are still underneath the spraypaint versions.
