In a very good condition a stunning and hard to find US WW2 M1923 canvas rifle sling.
The sling was designed during the interwar period for use with the M1903 Springfield Rifle, but also used with the M1917 Enfield, M1 Garand Rifle and Thompson SMG. The sling design was highly adjustable, and using the 4 slot buckle and other hardware, it was able to be configured into 4 different lengths.
This example is complete and fully functional, and is marked S.M. CO. / 1942. The sling does show light traces of wear and age.
