British WW2 Wireless No.46 Set with Carrying Bag

In a very nice condition a hard to find British WW2 Wireless Set No. 46 with carrying bag.
The Wireless No.46 set was a manpack transceiver developed in 1942, principally for communication during beach landing operations!
Also used by Airborne command.
Frequency Range 3-9.1 MHz. It had three pre-set crystal controlled channels. R/T or MCW. Range: up to 10 miles using long type rod. The set was completely waterproof, self-contained and carried by one man. The combined dry battery pack was the same type as used with the No. 18 and No. 68 Sets.
The set comes with the canvas carrier and also the backpack.
Unfortunalty the backpack is missing the junction box but the rare carrying bag is present.
A very hard to find wireless set.
