German LW M40 SD KIA Combat Helmet 'US 253th Infantry Regiment bringback'

In a very stunning condition a German Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal KIA Combat Helmet.
The helmet comes in a near mint condition. It has 99% of it's original paint and decal on the shell.
Inside is the original liner in size 58 original attached with the original chinstrap.
The sheepskin liner has on the reverse side a big spot of blood damage on the leather. This indicates for sure a taken helmet from a killed in action German Luftwaffe Soldier.
The helmet is made by Quist and has a helmet size of 66.
Productionnumber is 11467.
The helmet is found by the US 63th Infantry Division, 253th Infantry Regiment, H-Company.
The names of all company members are clearly written en marked on the helmet on the outside.
All names, places and states were they were from are marked.
On the reverse side are 3 named with a star. These man were fallen during there campaigns.
A very stunning helmet and a must for every US WW2 63th I.D. /253th Infantry Regiment researcher.
The 253th Infantry regiment was active on the Western Front and saw action in December 1944 till the end of the war in the Rhineland and Germany.
