In a very good condition a US WW2 1st Infantry Division 'Big Red One' Named Grouping.
The grouping is on the name of Donald I. Beales, member of the Recon Troops, 1st I.D.
The grouping contains his rank patches, 1st Infantry Division SSI, Ribbonbars, Letter, Framed Grave picture of Donald and his Decal marked Liner.
The liner is complete with the original chinstrap and the 1st Infantry Division Decal on the front of the liner.
A very stunning grouping.

Donald I. Beales was born in 1919 in Massachusetts, his father, Alonzo, was 30 and his mother, Harriet, was 29. He had three sisters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Technician Fourth Grade in the 1st Reconnaissance Troop, 1st Infantry Division.
He died on February 12, 1945 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
