US WW2 101st AB / 501st PIR 1B Grouping SSgt. Lawrence J. Wiltgen

In a used condition a grouping on the name of Paratrooper Staff Sergeant Lawrence J. Wiltgen (ASN 39022229) and member of the 101st Airborne Division, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, B-company.
The set contains his wartime used Jumpboots, Silk Escape map and a cut out piece of his Parachute canopy.
The jumpboots are clearly used and comes with the name and service number of Lawrence on the inside.
The laces are damaged and one of the jumpboots has a serious damage on the reverse side.
Attached is a nice silk Escape map 43A/B and a piece of camouflaged parachute cloth, as he probably cut out after the jump.
Lawrence J. Wiltgen was an Instructor of the Parachute Jumpschool at Ft. Benning before he was transfered to the 501st PIR in may 1943.
Lawrence was wounded on 6 June 1944 in Normandy France and also during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes.
We have various paper documents from him to send the new owner.
A very nice set for display purposes!
