German WH Camo Helmet Cover 'Arnhem'
In a very good condition a rare to find German Wehrmacht (Heer) Camouflaged Helmet cover.
The helmet cover was approx. 15 years ago found in an attic of a private household in Arnhem, Holland.
The helmet cover comes in a fieldmade example in the splitter camo pattern cloth.
The cover is made for a helmet with shell size 66 and has traces of use on it on various parts.
With the cover are also two metal wires that were original with the cover as found.
Traces of rust of these wires are clearly visible on the helmet cover.
This is a very stunning field made example of a Wehrmacht (Heer) Helmet cover thas is clearly used during operations in Holland and Arnhem, probably by Operation Market Garden.
This item comes from my own collection.
Very stunning historic item and comes without the displayed helmet that was only used for the pictures.
