USAAF WW2 Modified Mea West Life Preserver type B-4

In a very good condition a US Army Air Force WW2 Modified Mea West Life Preserver type B-4.
The mea west life preserver is nicely maker marked by Air Cruisers Inc and is dated November 1943.
It's complete with all the straps and also the gascilinder holders on the inside.
On the front is a stunning modifcation made by the owner to attach a mirror pocket to the vest.
When the pilot or paratrooper got in the sea then he could use his mirror to track attention from boats and airplanes.
The pocket comes with a attached wartime US mirror.
A very stunning mea west for mannequin purposes!
These mea west life preservers were used by Airman and Paratroopers during WW2.
