Oberleutnant Erwin Prössl earned the German Cross in Gold on November 7, 1942 as Feldwebel in the 4. Staffel/ Aufklärungsgruppe 31 and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on February 29, 1944 as Leutnant und Flugzeugführer in the 4. Staffel/ Aufklärungsgruppe 31.
The portrait picture comes with another picture with signature of Erwin and also his wartime achievement rapport.
