Signature of Hubert Lanz 'General of the Mountain troops'

In a very nice condition a postcard from Hubert Lanz with on the reverse side his signature and date of 1968.
Hubert Lanz was issued on 29.12.1943 as commander-in-chief of the XXII. Mountain Army Corps. (Knight´s Cross 1.10.1940 / Oak Leaves 23.12.1942).
Hubert Lanz belonged to the resistance and planned on 13.3.1943 an assassination in Walki near Poltava on Adolf Hitler. He was to be captured and then shot. Adolf Hitler, on the other hand, made a surprise visit to his front-line visit, so that the assassination failed. In 1947, Hubert Lanz was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in the Nuremberg felony trial because of the massacre on Kefalonia and because of hostage murder in the Balkans. Every attacked Italian soldier was shot immediately after his capture. All the officers of the division were shot a few days later - at the order of Lanz "in dignified form." A total of 5170 Italians were murdered on the island of Corfu.
The postcard comes togther with a letter from Hubert and has also his signature.
