In a very good condition a stunning and very hard to find US WW2 101st Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment Named M-1942 Reinforced Jumpjacket.
The jumpjacket comes in a very good mannequin size 36L and is in a very good shape with only light traces of wear and age.
The jacket is complete with wartime 101st AB patch, belt and all rigger made reinforced pockets and elbow patches.
The reinforcement is the clearly 101st AB rigger textbook version.
On the breast and on the inside the jacket is named to Corporal Jay F. Barr of the H-Company/ 1st Platoon 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st AB. (ASN 13092187 ​)
Inside the jacket is also his laundrynumber B-2187 still visible that makes a clear match.

Corporal Jay Barr, Veteran of Normandy, was killed in action on 25 September 1944 during operation Market Garden, in Koevering Holland by a direct Germa. 8.8cm round in his stomach.
Ofcourse Corporal Barr did not wear this jumpjacket but the new issued M-1943 for OMG.
