German WH Tank Transmitter '10W.Sender C.'

In a very good condition a German Wehrmacht Tank Transmitter 10 Watt Sender C.
The transmitter was used basicly in armored vehicles for short distances; in tanks generally for communication between tank company and tank battalion headquarters; and in stationary installations for short range communication with marine stations. These transmitters can also be used in the nets with American AM sets within the frequency and distance range. They were designed to be used with receivers Ukw.E.e. (That we have on our other add for sale)
It is a part of the Fu 5 system that also includes the Ukw. E. e receiver. Both the receiver and transmitter have the same frequency scale and control mechanism. There are two click-stop station pre-sets, and an air core capacitor for matching antenna impendence.

The transmitter comes with the original cover plate as found and is nicely dated 1944.
