US WW2 17th Airborne Division Paratrooper Combat Helmet
In a very good condition a very hard to find US WW2 17th Airborne Division Paratrooper Combat Helmet.
The M1 helmet is made by Mc Cord and comes in a fixed bale front seam version with typical straps attached used by the 17th Airborne Division.
The productionnumber of the shell is 542A.
The helmet has on top traces of black camo paint as often by paratroopers.
On the front of the helmet is the servicenumber (partial) of the paratrooper present and the name MER on the side.
Inside the helmet shell is a stunning period matching Westinghouse paratrooper liner with green A-Washers and a very nice late war Canvas Chincup present.
A very stunning 17th Airborne Division helmet that shall looks great on every paratrooper mannequin!
