US WW2 Named 82nd AB M42 Combat Tunic 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment
In a very good condition a US WW2 82nd Airborne Division, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment M42 Jumpjacket.
The jacket comes in a very good mannequin size and has still the original talon and crown zippers in a functional condition.
The tunic comes with the original wartime sewed 82nd Airborne Division Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and is named on the tag to Pfc. Gordon Alexander 504th PIR- 1st Battalion Medic.
Gordon Alexander wore this tunic when he jumped in Sicily and when he got shot in the leg.
Attached to the tunic are some newspaper articles of Gordon and also his handwritten signed text that he used this jacket in Sicily.
After the war he added the ruptured duck breast insignia and the overseas bar on the sleeve to the jacket.
A very stunning medic worn jacket for sicily!
