US WW2 M42 Paratrooper Jumpjacket 'Donald A. Davis'
In a nice used condition a US WW2 Airborne M42 Jumpjacket.
The jacket comes in a good mannequin size 34 approx.
It has the zinc snapbuttons and is complete with the original belt and a stunning pocket reinforcement as they did in the early days of WW2.
It has the standard zippers made by Crown and Talon and are in a good working condition.
Inside the neck is the Laundrynumber of the soldier present DAD (Donald A. Davis) with Officer laundrynumber O-674.
The jacket has sewing traces of the sergeant chevrons and also the lieutenant bars.
Also the round patch of the 507th sewings is clearly visible!
Donald was attached to the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment and during the D-Day Campaign a membe r of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
Donald was serious wounded on the 17th of June 1944 in France and got his bronze star for the D-Day operation.
