German Wehrmacht Auto Union DKW RT 125 n.A.

In a very stunning and working condition a German Wehrmacht issued Auto Union DKW 125 'neuere Ausführung'.
These DKW RT 125 was introduced to the market in 1939 and was also utilized by German government services. RT stands for Reichs Typ. With its 125 cc engine displacement, it was a very lightweight motorcycle, which was not initially appreciated by everyone. Remarkably, during the war years, the British factory Royal Enfield produced a copy of it, which was found to be very practical by the British airborne troops. As the war progressed, even the Wehrmacht began to recognize the advantage of such a light motorcycle. This led to a special Wehrmacht version: the n.A., which stands for neuere Ausführung (newer version). It had a larger fuel tank capacity and especially space for two bags on the side (so-called Packtäsche) for carrying ammunition, for example. In short, it took a while, but ultimately it became a highly valued vehicle!

This particulair example was build in 1944 and comes with all known history of the vehicle from the war end.
It was owned for 67 years by one owner and comes in a very nice repainted camo colour and in a running/working condition!
A very stunning motorcycle for display and/or use!
