US WW2 Named 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper Helmet

In a very good condition a stunning US WW2 82nd AIrborne Division Paratrooper Helmet.
The M1 fixed bale, rear seam helmet comes on the name of Willard H. Caulkins Jr., Member of the 82nd Airborne Division during WW2.
The M1 Helmet shell is made by Schlueter and comes with the 'S' marking inside the shell rim.
Next to the Schlueter marking is the name and ASN marked from Willard Caulkins.
Also has the original chinstraps the Laundrynumber of Willard present (ASN 33590658 C-0658).
In the shell is a very stunning Westinghouse paratrooper liner present with green A-Washers and all the original webbing including the leather chinstrap.
Attached to the set is a very nice british made helmet net and a USAAF leather chincup.

Willard was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 15, 1924, the only child of Willard H. and Helen March Caulkins. He graduated from Springfield H.S. (Delaware County, PA) in 1942 and served as a paratrooper and scout with the 82nd Airborne in Europe during World War II. His rebellious nature enabled him to earn the rank of Private First Class seven times. He was involved with the invasion of Holland, saw heavy action during the Battle of the Bulge, and at war's end liberated a concentration camp.
