US WW2 Navy M1 Helmet MM2 'Mike A Kotz'

In a very stunning condition a US WW2 Navy M1 Helmet.
The mc Cord made swivel bale, front seam helmet comes on the name of Mike A Kotz.
The helmet was years ago bought from the family estate sale and comes with the requested veterans information from st. louis record centre.
Mike A Kotz served as a MM2 (E-5 Petty Officer Second Class) member on the USS Aurelia (AKA-23).
The helmet shell comes in the navy blue paint over the standard olive green paint and has the E-64 marking on the front of the helmet shell (and liner).
The McCord helmet comes with productionnumber 288A and contains the original chinstrap.
Inside is a very nice westinghouse made liner present with the complete webbing and leather chinstrap.
Both liner and shell are initial marked 'MAK' (Mike Alex Kotz)
