US WW2 M1 Helmet Liner 101st Airborne Division 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment
In a very stunning condition a US WW2 M1 Helmet Liner of the 101st Airborne Division, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment.
The helmet liner was originally found in the Belgium Ardennes / Bastogne region.
The helmet liner is made by Firestone and is clearly one of the early produced versions indicating the non painted A-washers.
The liner is complete with the original webbing and chinstrap still attached.
The helmet shell has the original reissued paint as original done by the 501st PIR on there helmets that were used during the Ardennes Campaign (Battle of the Bulge).
Both sides comes with the original attached decals of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment and have the 'tiq' to the bottom, indicating used by a member of the 2nd battalion.
A very stunning and extreme hard to find original paratrooper liner of the famous 101st Airborne Division.
