Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on October 29, 1942 as Leutnant in the 6. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52 and the oakleaves on March 2, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Staffelkapitän of the 7. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 52.
