Kompanie/ Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 4 and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on January 14, 1945 as Feldwebel und Führer of the 6. Kompanie/ Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 4 of the 1. Fallschirmjäger-Division.
