US WW2 Ingraved 2nd Lieutenant Rank Bar

In a very nice condition a stunning US WW2 2nd Lieutenant Rank Bar.
The rank bar is nicely maker marked on the reverse side by Balfour 1/20 10KGF!
A "Balfour KGF ww2 insignia" refers to a World War II-era military insignia produced by the L.G. Balfour company, marked with "1/20 10K GF" or similar variations.
This marking signifies that the insignia is made of 10 karat gold-filled material, meaning a layer of 10K gold covers a base metal.
The rank bar is also ingraved with the date of the owner that got this rank on 9 September 1944.
