USAAF WW2 Flashlight Identification lamp type A-7

In a very good condition a US Army Air Force Escape Flashlight or floating identification lamp type A-7.
Standardized in 1942, it was a waterproof black plastic floating identification lamp for use on inflatable boats.
The base containing the D battery (not present) can be unscrewed and removed to make the lamp longer and more stable while floating.
A very hard to find lamp!
