US Army WW2 Type 1 Service Shoes

In a very good condition a US Army first model/ type 1 pair of Service Shoes.
The Type I Service Shoe was constructed with russet tanned leather, without capped toe, 7-9 eyelets depending on size and a full leather sole.
Produced only from 1939 to 1941, the Type I service shoes are quite hard to find considering that the Army of the United States at the time was smaller than that of Portugal during that period.
The shoes comes in a large mannequin size 13 and are maker marked on the inside tong and have also the laundrynumber of the owner present inside.
A very hard to find type 1 set!
