US WW2 101st Airborne Division, 401th GIR Press Picture Carentan

In a very good condition a stunning picture of the US WW2 101st Airborne Division, 401th Glider Infantry Regiment in Carentan France!
The press picture comes in a large size of 20x30cm and is nicely marked on the reverse side with the name of the soldier that is display in front of the Carentan Roadsign Private Willie R. Hiney.
The picture is dated 14 June 1944.
Willie R. Hiney was a member of the Hq Company 401st GlR. He was missing in action on 18 September 1944 in Holland after his glider crashlanded near Tilburg (Holland) for operation market garden. He was back in line October 28, 1944
