German WH Terek Cossack' sleeve-shield

In a mint condition a stunning German Wehrmacht (Heer) 'Terek Cossack' sleeve-shield.
The bevo wave pattern made sleeve shield was used by the volunteers within the 1st Cossack Calvary Division.
The shield shows the white cyrillic letters 'TB'. The cossacks served within the 1st Cossack Calvary Division which was formed from Don, Kuban and Terek Cossacks. As with other foreign volunteers Terek Cossack personnel were allocated an identifying sleeve shield insignia that was introduced in 1943. The shield is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style on a field-grey linnen background. Nice original BeVo Eastern volunteer insignia in mint and unissued condition!
