SS-Hauptsturmführer Heinrich Debus earned the Ritterkreuz on May 4, 1944 as SS-Obersturmführer und Führer of the SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 5 of the 5. SS-Panzer-Division “Wiking”.
