British WW2 Army Royal Engineers Mine Probe Set

In a very good condition a British WW2 Army Royal Engineers Mine Probe Set.
These items were used to probe the ground for mines, they were first issued to the royal engineers in 1944. This set consists of three parts: a handle, pole and probing spike, which unscrews for storage inside the pole.
The probe spike can be used with the pole or with the handle. The probe also includes a webbing case with 37 pattern fittings, and two loops to the rear which look to be for attaching to a soldiers belt and cross strap.
The case is maker marked on the reverse side but hard to read.
A very nice hard to find probe set!
