US WW2 RARE M1 Paratrooper Helmet
In a very good condition an extreme hard to find version of the US WW2 M1 Paratrooper Helmet.
The helmet shell is a stunning fixed bale, front seam helmet made by Mc Cord.
The helmet shell comes with heatnumber 386A and is complete in the original paint.
It has the ultra rare mid war period produced (between M2 and M1c) paratrooper straps with brass male snap fasteners that are original fabric applied and sewed!
For some who think this was not produced see the book of Pieter Oosterman, 'The M-1 Helmet of the World War II GI'.
Also these helmets were dug-up in the Market Garden dropzones in Holland.
Inside the helmet shell is a stunning Westinghouse paratrooper liner present with both A-Yokes original attached and with complete ,not damaged, webbing.
Attached to the westinghouse liner is a very nice leather chinstrap (reproduction but has a great look!)
A very stunning real paratrooper fixed bale helmet that is more rare than the M2 D-Bale Helmet to find!!
Good luck to find another one!
