Oberstarzt Dr.med. Heinrich Neumann earned the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on August 21, 1941 as Oberstabarzt und Regimentsarzt of the Luftlande-Sturm-Regiment 1 of the 7. Flieger-Division.
