British WW2 Paratrooper Rifle Valise 1944
In a very good condition a hard to find British Paratrooper 1st pattern Rifle Valise.
The rifle valise was used to protect the Lee Enfield 303 rifle during the jump. The rope was used to lower the rifle so that the rifle was first on the ground before the soldier came with his full packing.
The rifle valise is nicely maker marked by Meco and dated 1944.

In a nice condition a hard to find US WW2 Named Grouping on the name of Pfc Rocco J. Tucci, member of the 82nd Airborne Division, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, E- Company.
The grouping contains a telegram to his parents dated 26 June 1944 with the message that Rocco was killed in action in France.
